Born and raised in the Netherlands. Originally trained as a social worker, modern dance entered Jurgen's life relatively late. Because he was able to combine the physicality of martial arts and different dance styles and his talent to express himself physically, Jurgen has worked with various dance makers and has been part of collectives, including Andrea Boll, Lorenzo Borella and music theater De Plaats.
