Yomi Hitijahubessy

Yomi Hitijahubessy (1984) completed the Modern Theater Dance course at the Amsterdam School of the Arts (AHK). During her education she danced with Theater St. Gallen (CH) and followed an exchange program at Suny Purchase (US).
After graduation, Yomi danced with Kompany Malakhi (UK), Tragic Trio (NL / BE), Teatro Munganga (NL / BR) and the Nederlandse Opera. In 2011 she developed Autolab together with Vloeistof and Dansmakers Amsterdam and Welcome to the outside world in collaboration with Vloeistof / Dansateliers Rotterdam and Urban Explorers Festival Dordrecht. Yomi is convinced that dance can change the world.
